John was born in 1976 in New York City. As a photographer he has traveled the world seeking "real moments" of the human heart. Over the years he has published three photography books. His most recent publication, A Land Between Worlds: The Shifting Poetry of the Great American Landscape (2022), is a combination of photography, poetry, and augmented reality and is the official book of his exhibition A Species Between Worlds: Our Nature Our Screens (September, 2022, NYC).

I designed an identity that portraits John’s body of work about shifting realities. The play between Serif and Non-Serif type represents his aproach on the shift between Human & Digital research.
