The One Club for Creativity

Lisbon will be one of the host cities for the One Club AI Creative Challenge, a new international competition bringing together some of the world’s most talented AI creators in a global partnership between The One Club for Creativity and Google. The Portuguese leg will take place on November 13, hosted by the Clube da Criatividade de Portugal, with the support of FFF Design Assembly.
Presented by The One Club for Creativity in partnership with Google, the challenge will unfold through a series of knockout rounds, with participants given just 10 minutes to respond to a secret creative brief, selected at random, using generative AI tools.
In total, 128 AI specialists will compete across events in 16 cities worldwide, divided into three regions: the United States and Canada, EMEA and Latin America, and Asia-Pacific.
Lisbon among the cities competing for the title
Lisbon is part of the second leg of the competition, covering EMEA and Latin America, alongside cities including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Dubai, Istanbul, London, Mexico City and São Paulo.
The Lisbon leg will take place on November 13, hosted by the Clube da Criatividade de Portugal, with sponsor support from FFF Design Assembly.
In each battle, competitors will be assessed by a jury of leading industry professionals, based on criteria including speed, prompt mastery and creative execution. Only one competitor will emerge victorious in each city.
The competition is free and open to the public, giving creative professionals and audiences the opportunity to experience the head-to-head battles live.
From local battles to the world final in New York
The competition follows a tournament format, with participants going head-to-head in successive rounds until one winner remains. City champions will then progress to the quarter-finals and semi-finals, before facing off in the global final.
The winner of the One Club AI Creative Challenge will be crowned on February 18, 2027, in New York, at a final hosted by Google. The champion will receive $50,000 in prize money and the title of AI Creative Champion.
The first editions of the challenge took place in May during Creative Week 2026, organised by The One Club, and in June at the Google Creative House in Cannes. The Cannes edition was won by Portuguese AI director and Mashed Potatoes co-founder Fera.
The competition is now expanding into a truly global format.
“The AI Creative Challenge celebrates what happens when human imagination meets the latest AI technology,” says Kevin Swanepoel, CEO of The One Club for Creativity. “It’s not about replacing creativity, but about showcasing the next generation of creative talent, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, and giving creatives around the world a global stage to compete, learn and inspire one another.”
The organisers also emphasise that all local events are designed as free experiences for audiences, open both to each city’s creative community and to the general public.
Registration to attend the different stages is available through the official competition website, where visitors can select their city and register to attend.
