Sebastião Teixeira
Sebastião Teixeira

Nome e Signo

Hello! I’m João Sebastião Teixeira—João to some, Sebastião to many others. I’ve attended the following courses: Civil Engineering, Product Design, and Jazz Piano. None were completed.

I started my working life as an IT teacher for kids and the elderly, then moved on to freelance graphic design, and later joined Ivity Brand Corp. After that chapter, I founded the clothing brand Maison Pixel, inspired by pixels and computer graphics, and later co-founded the design studio Graficalismo. That’s about it.

I like computers, computer games, things moving on computers—even music made on computers! I’m also really into the internet—websites, online culture, pop culture on the internet, everything on the internet! All of this together apparently translates into a passion for digital. Maybe that’s why I’m here.

All the best.

Judite Mota
Judite Mota

Nome e Signo

Judite Mota was born in Santarém but never felt like she belonged to Ribatejo. She studied dance at the Conservatory but never became a dancer. She holds a degree in Communication Sciences but never worked as a journalist.

A coincidence—and complete ignorance about commercial communication—led her to an internship at DDB, where she became a copywriter. It seems, for good. She has worked in the creative departments of Ogilvy, Y&R, Bates/redCell, and back at Y&R, where in addition to serving as Executive Creative Director, she also took on General Management responsibilities.

She has won awards at almost every national and international festival and has also served as a juror at many of them, including Cannes Lions, One Show, New York Festivals, Cresta, and Clio. She was President of the Clube de Criatividade de Portugal for four years.

Following the merger of VMLY&R and Wunderman Thompson, she became Chief Creative Officer of VML Portugal, where she oversaw a diverse and multifaceted team. In 2025, she took a sabbatical year and traveled extensively through Japan. At the beginning of 2026, she accepted an invitation to join Publicis Group, where she is now CCO. She continues to serve on the board of the Clube de Criatividade de Portugal.

She believes that creativity is the force that moves the world—brands and beyond.

10h _ Maxim Weinstein & Tudor Cucu (Serviceplan) - "Craft in the Age of Shortcuts"

Fernando Silva & Pedro Barroso (Uzina)

Miguel Durão & João Ribeiro (Stream and Tough Guy)

TALKS:

10h _ Maxim Weinstein & Tudor Cucu (Serviceplan) - "Craft in the Age of Shortcuts"

We are Tudor and Maxim, two creatives who place design at the heart of everything we do. With our shared experience within the Serviceplan Group, we will explore creative culture and how design remains one of the core disciplines and strengths—one that cannot rely on shortcuts, even as we make use of better tools.

As collaboration is a crucial part of the process, the session will expand on new creative workflows and ways of working. It will be guided by a central principle: human creativity first, technology second. We will also touch on what sets great creatives apart today—experience, decision-making, taste, and a relentless curiosity to keep one’s skillset ahead of the curve.

11h _ Miguel Sousa & Giulia Ferrarezi (BBH London) "This isn’t it. Yet."

BBH London Design Director Miguel Sousa and Creative Director Giulia Ferrarezi have spent their careers proving it. In this session, they go behind the scenes of their creative process, from rough idea to bulletproof execution, showing what it takes to make work that's truly iconic. Spanning brands like Burger King and Tesco, they'll share how the best work doesn't happen despite creative tension, but because of it: the push and pull between idea and design, and the refusal to stop until both are inseparable.

12h _ Creative duos on all fronts:

Cesária Martins & Sebastião Teixeira (Graficalismo)

Fernando Silva & Pedro Barroso (Uzina)

Miguel Durão & João Ribeiro (Stream and Tough Guy)

Nuno Alberto & João Marques (78)

Moderated by Judite Mota - CCP Board

Do two heads think better than one? For nearly 60 years, creative duos have been a traditional format within creative agencies — and beyond. In this panel, we’ll explore the kinds of work that benefit most from the talent and dynamics of a duo.

We also want to understand why it works. Is it collaboration? A clash of identities? Complementarity? Telepathy? Masochism?

Join us to uncover the secrets behind these creative partnerships.
