16h _ Marc Català & Pablo Juncadella (Mucho) - "To duo or not to duo"
17h _ Marina Willer (Pentagram) & Stuart Watson (Nomad Studio) "Double Trouble"
VML & Wells - Sara Soares & Marta Castro

15h _ Rob Estreitinho (Salmon Labs) - “Tetris Teams: How ‘improvisation (in PT - desenrasca’ will save us in the next decade”
We only truly appreciate what we have when we step outside the environment we grew up in. This was Rob’s experience: when he moved to London, he encountered a market that was highly specialized, but also had very little ability to improvise when needed.
Nowadays, with recessions, AI, tighter budgets and timelines—and still the expectation to deliver results—the ability to improvise in creative projects becomes indispensable across all kinds of markets, not just smaller ones.
Rob calls this “Tetris Teams”: groups of people with the ability to combine skills that don’t usually go together, even if it means occasionally doing things outside the usual “how it’s always been done” playbook.
16h _ Marc Català & Pablo Juncadella (Mucho) - "To duo or not to duo"
The talk will reflect on a key aspect of Mucho’s identity and practice. While the studio began as a duo, it has evolved over the past 15 years into a collective of 45 people and 10 partners and associates. Today, Mucho operates as a collaborative practice. Marc Català and Pablo Juncadella will explore the transition from duo to collective — and how that shift has shaped the studio’s growth as a company, as designers, and as individuals. They will give an honest reflection on collaboration, scale, and the evolving nature of creative practice.
17h _ Marina Willer (Pentagram) & Stuart Watson (Nomad Studio) - "Double Trouble"
Marina & Stuart are the ultimate creative duo, dubbed by many as "The Beckhams of Branding".Their love affair began in Rio de Janeiro and continues today as they collaborate, create and constantly draw inspiration from their identical twin boys. Marina is a partner at Pentagram London, and Stuart is the Founder of Nomad Studio. They met at Wolff Olins where they connected through a shared vision for creativity. They put this vision into practice by creating ‘Oi’ – Brazil’s fastest startup ever to reach one million customers, winning a Guinness World Record and Grand-Prix at The DBA Awards.
Marina & Stuart continue to collaborate on many projects, including Rolls Royce and the Natural History Museum.
They have also built a life together, with their twin boys Alfie & Dylan, where creativity plays a central role at home and in life. Along side this, together they have created some of the world’s most iconic brands including Tate, Premier League, Natural History Museum, The Economist,
EDP, Rolls-Royce, Nubank, Oi Brazil and many others.
18h _ Agency & client duos:
Fuel & NOS - João Madeira & António Fuzeta da Ponte
VML & Wells - Sara Soares & Marta Castro
o escritório & Super Bock - Nuno Jerónimo & Bruno Albuquerque
They sit in different offices, on chairs facing opposite horizons. Some look out onto spreadsheets and metrics. Others are focused on a question: what is this brand? What story are we going to tell to reach people?
Portugal has strong examples of success, consistency, and results in building brands through creativity. And behind each of them, there’s always a strong agency–client partnership.
How is that achieved?
